Wow. Thanks.
Took Mrs. addiction to the symphony Saturday night - the music of John Williams. Was great.

As a trumpet player, I find Williams’ music an absolute thrill to play. His score is the only redeeming aspect of those otherwise dreadful Star Wars prequels. The love/tragedy theme for Anakin and Padme is perhaps his greatest melody. But his Princess Leia theme from Ep. 4 has to be a close second.

The lead trumpet playing for Tulsa right now is fantastic.
Hopefully #7 will get close to meeting the high standards of the original trilogy!

I’ve never heard of him (Tim McFadden), but he’s got a good pedigree.

Dude: unbelievable.
Dad said he’s “unconvinced” about jazz. Not after hearing this, he shouldn’t be.
